Relays

When necessary, depending on the Operating Platform (OP) used in the Lencore engineered system solution, relays are used to activate contact closures. In essence, a relay acts as an OP and may be used to turn devices - such as the Record, Audio, MPEG Player (RAMP) or strobe lighting on and off.

Lencore utilizes open protocol relays. These are LonWorks Twisted-Pair FT-10 Network Enclosed Dual I/O Controllers with one discrete output (20 Amp Relay SPDT), and one discrete input.
