Router
Model G70
When a networked direct-fired speaker or system is required, the CrossNetOne™ system provides the highest level of sound quality and adjustability and offers the ability for network control. Through the system’s managing software, zones can be created and modified for masking and paging. On-going changes and additions to zones can all be handled through the network interface without the need to rewire the system.
At approximately every 30th Platform-Net, a Lencore router is typically needed to ensure quality data transmission, paging and music integrity among long Platform-net cable runs.
Connect a CAT 5e cable from the OUT data port of the 30th Platform-Net to the data IN side of the router. Now connect another CAT 5e cable from OUT side of router to IN data port of 31st Platform-Net. Do similar connections after every 30th Platform-Net in the system. (see diagram in following page)
For CrossNetOne™ Sound Masking System with paging/music, connect internal jumpers to the screw terminals located on either end of the router to integrated Platform-Net Amps after every 60th Platform-Net in a run.
Paging and music may be routed out of the router via internal jumpers to the screw terminals located on either end of the router to either integrated Platform-Net Amps or component amplifiers and equalizers for signal boost and correction. This setup is typically run at approximately the 60th Platform-Net in a run.
