Not only is the Spectra i.Net® Sound Masking System on a new level for customization and performance, it outperforms competitive systems on every point that matters:
- Sound Quality, Comfort and Uniformity
- Speech Privacy
- Music Page Interface
- Open Platform System with Multi-Drop Network
- System Flexibility, Reliability & Accessibility
- User Controls, Diagnostic Capability
- Ease of Use, Installation and Tuning
- 10 year warranty
The Spectra i.Net® system includes digital signal processors, electronic noise generators, amplifiers, wiring, loudspeakers, controls and components to generate, amplify, distribute and reproduce digitally synthesized and stabilized background sound masking to create speech privacy. In addition, the system's Music Page Interface replaces all the bulky head-end equipment that is typically associated with music paging systems, and provides end users with the ability to program 100 zones and up to 1.5 million square feet.
The sound masking system is capable of separately and independently configuring zones for sound masking, paging and music via the network empowered by through its central control.
The Spectra i.Net® masking system uses a multi-drop network capable of being tuned through a network, LAN or wireless hand-held remote. The system is designed so that individual speaker or component failure will have no impact on the balance of the system.
The masking volume is adjustable via digital means for 1/2 dB steps for a range of 36-84 dBA as measured 1m from the center of the speaker. The sound masking system is also able to provide muting capabilities. The sound masking, paging and music has individual identifiers located on an integrated LCD screen.
The sound generating units have an adjustable sound spectrum shaping control in order to meet the varying spectral requirements of drywall ceilings; various types of ceiling tile, air return grills and openings around lighting fixtures, etc.
The system is capable of performing complete diagnostic functions and uses an open platform operating system (LonTalk®). Spectra i.Net® utilizes off the shelf browser software for full manipulation without any proprietary software.
These features and qualities are just some of the benefits of the Lencore Spectra i.Net® System that make it the only networked sound masking system uniquely qualified to support the masking, paging and music needs for any facility with adjustment capabilities unsurpassed in the industry. The system requires no on-going maintenance and is manufactured with high levels of recycled content and within strict environmental guidelines.
